It's February!

January is a long month. Starting with new year's resolutions, surviving dry January and the 5 weeks to pay day, and ending with the tax return deadline. But now it's February. Time to take a breath. The snowdrops are out, spring is coming. Time for spring cleaning, and I don't mean your house. Why not take this time to review your finances, update your household budget, plan this year's holidays and events.

Planning ahead can reduce stress later. So create a schedule of all those birthday cards and gifts you need to buy. Make a note of when your house and car insurance is due, and car tax and service. Don't forget the boiler service (and chimney sweep if you have a log burner). Don't let the MOT reminder come as a shock.

By identifying important dates now, you can get a clearer picture of how the year will unfold and when large expenses will hit.

Now is the time to plan for a very very organised 2020!!
